When transformation depends upon changing how people consistently behave, respond, relate, and function, greater knowledge, deeper understanding, and expanded skills do not, by themselves, ensure sustained changes in behavior or outcomes. THM begins by identifying what has become prolonged, consistent, and resistant to change, then identifies and transforms the unconscious biases and beliefs creating and perpetuating those chronic difficulties. Once those unconscious biases and beliefs have been transformed, new knowledge, training, and skill development are introduced to establish and sustain the behaviors and functional capacities necessary to achieve the defined goals.
The Haamee Method™ organizes the transformation process through three essential stages: Assess, Address, and Apply.
Assess begins with identifying the behaviors, responses, relational dynamics, and performance difficulties that have become chronic, consistent, and resistant to change, followed by the identification of the unconscious biases and beliefs creating and perpetuating them. Every transformation process begins with seeing clearly not only what continues to occur, but the unconscious biases and beliefs that continue to recreate and perpetuate the very problems transformation is intended to resolve.
Address is the willingness to allow an honest examination of the possibility that unconscious biases and beliefs are contributing to the very unwanted outcomes that need to be changed.
Transforming these unconscious biases and beliefs creates new perceptions, beliefs, and responses aligned with the intended transformation, enabling sustained behavioral and functional change within the areas identified through Assessment.
Apply introduces the knowledge, strategies, training, and skill development relevant to the intended transformation. With the unconscious biases and beliefs creating and perpetuating the chronic difficulties already transformed, individuals and organizations can acquire and develop the cognitive, behavioral, interpersonal, leadership, and other functional capabilities necessary to advance and achieve their defined goals.
THM extends transformation beyond a single intervention, learning experience, or effort to change. The Four Stages for Success provide a structured process that begins with assessment and identification, advances through the transformation of what has remained resistant to change, and incorporates the individualized development, knowledge, and skills necessary to establish and sustain the defined goals.
